Workshop List

Learn copper electroforming and take home your very own electroformed glass pendant. You will gain a clear understanding of how to electroform so you will be able to reproduce electroforming techniques at home! I will share electroforming equipment needs, techniques, and methods and will provide you an opportunity to practice in class. Additionally you will receive “how to” documentation. Every student will electroform a pendant and understand tank set-up and maintenance, rectifier settings, and processes associated with electroforming. Students are encouraged to bring one of their own beads to decorate in class and truly make their creation one of their own. My methods are easy to understand and always effective! Class will break twice during the day to provide time for bonding, and drying. Pick up and finish projects on Wednesday, Friday, or by prior arrangement. If students are unable to return I will finish and mail their project for a small fee. Kit includes handmade glass face bead; copper, conductive paint, micro beads crystals, electroforming and polishing equipment and chemicals, and a tutorial containing detailed instructions, material resources, and photographs.
Class Equipment List for Students to Bring:
Magnifying glasses or readers,
Lamp worked beads with depressions for CZ and elevated spots,
Notebook and pen.
The class will use liver of sulphur (LOS) to darken final project.
