Workshop List

All designers start with a few simple materials and combine them into complete works. But good designers start with an idea and utilize their materials in the best manner possible. In this class students start by designing a focal component with bronze metal clay. They will learn to properly construct focal components to fit with leather strapping. Careful planning will be necessary to ensure a good fit after firing. The metal clay will be fired overnight. In the second session, students will learn to polish and construct the bracelet. Each material will be addressed along with the colors and sizes in order to design a cohesive and appealing bracelet. Then finish the surface with flat back crystals. Attention will be given to aesthetics and details of craftsmanship. All levels of experience are welcome.
