Make your new “go-to” pair of earrings! Forget 1-dimensional earring designs in metal clay. In this exciting class you will use fine silver clay to make basket-shaped hoops that have flair. And what’s more, Project X clay makes it possible to form these AFTER firing! Play around with texturing both sides of your design so that you get a peep of pattern inside your hoops adding more drama. Experiment with granulation, snakes and molded elements, craft your ear wires and patina if desired. This class will get you thinking about other 3D designs in metal clay.

Suggested tools to bring:
Wooden ring mandrel with stand, metal ring mandrel, rawhide mallet, metal file, 1/2 round pliers, round pliers, flat pliers, wire cutters, needle files, tiny hand drill/bit (instructor will have tools to share).
