In this exciting class you will combine metalsmithing with metal clay techniques as you design a pair of gorgeous swinging hoops. Take embeddable findings in metal clay to a whole new level as you learn to form them finesse fused fine silver wire rings into your clay to create seamless earrings. Twist your wire, add granulation or leave hoops plain. Option to add a fancy bail with small eyelet and patina. If time allows, we will fabricate ear wires.

Suggested tools to bring:

Step ring mandrel, rawhide mallet, metal file, wire cutters, 1/2 round pliers, round pliers, flat pliers (instructor will have tools to share).
