Learn to solder, set a faceted stone, and make and attach fine silver granules as you create this beautiful
silver pendant.
Silver soldering is a multi-step process, but under the guidance of an experienced and patient teacher,
you will learn every step as we all create the pendant shown in the illustration—no experience
necessary!
Skills covered in this class include creating a granule, soldering, setting the faceted gem, and polishing
and finishing. Class fee is $95.00. Gem availability may vary—or you can provide your own calibrated 5
mm gem. Cost of the kit with all the components will be $75, including an 18 inch silver chain.
When you leave class, you will not only have successfully soldered your first piece of wearable art—but
you will also take with you a comprehensive handout, with fully illustrated step-by-step instructions to
help you get started in your home studio.
If the time and date of the class you want to take is unavailable, please email the teacher at
studiominerock@gmail.com. We will either make room or put you on a waitlist in case another student
can’t make it.
Please, no requests for refunds less than three days before the show, due to the planning needed for
travel and supplies.
NOTE: We provide all the tools and equipment for use in the class, and discounted tools will be available
for purchase if desired, delivered to your home address after the show.
