Description (including techniques & materials):
In this class students can browse though a large collection of vintage brass stampings, and use their favorites as molds to construct beautiful pendants and/or earrings with an antique feel.
We will discuss how to best fill the stampings with clay, and discover useful tricks for removing our dried pieces from the stampings without breakage.
Students will learn how to set fireable CZs of various shapes and sizes in silver clay, and can incorporate these stones into their pieces.
Your materials kit contains fine silver clay, paste as needed, a polishing kit, embeddable findings as needed and your choice of fireable stones.
