Learn the basics of metal clay in this fun class with Carrie Story while making a dazzling fine silver & gold-plated pendant! In this beginner-level class, students will learn the basics of creating with fine silver metal clay and the basics of gold-plating! Carrie will guide you through some simple techniques and discuss the requirements for successful metal clay projects. Students will roll, cut, refine and fire their metal clay components. After firing, students will learn several polishing techniques.
If you thought that was fun, it gets even better! Once polished, students will pen plate 22k gold using the Pepe Pen Plater. It’s just like painting with gold! Students will accent their pendant with gold patterns to create a stunning design.
All levels of experience are welcome. Registration includes 30g .999 silver clay, gold solution and use of all materials and tools.
