Turtles and Tortoises in Metal Clay
Who doesn’t love a turtle (or tortoise)? In this 6 hour class, we will be exploring how to make a
terrapin using PMC Flex. We will start off by making a custom stencil,
then, depending on the type of turtle or tortoise desired, make the
body with textured metal clay. Finally, we will create a hidden bail to
finish our designs. Amazing results are possible and the outcomes
are limitless. This class is for the more experienced artist to further
hone their creative skills. The instructor will supply all tools, textures and metal clay as part of
the class kit fee. Students will only need to bring their creativity and a
cord or chain to mount their finished piece on!
