Desert Dance Earrings

This class introduces the fundamentals of soft soldering, a versatile technique commonly used in jewelry and small metal projects. Students will learn how to join metals using low-temperature solder, making this method ideal for working with delicate components, mixed materials, and found objects that cannot withstand the heat of traditional hard soldering.
Topics covered include solder types, flux, heat control, surface preparation, safety practices, and basic tool use. Through guided demonstrations and hands-on practice, students will create a stunning pair of earrings while developing confidence in all areas of soft solder design and technique..
This class is perfect for beginners and for makers looking to expand their jewelry skills without the need for high-heat torches or advanced equipment. No prior soldering experience is required.
